Welcome to Malmö Opera!

We are delighted to welcome you as our collegue. On this page you will find information that might be useful to you, prior and during your employment here at Malmö Opera. The Welcome brochure gives you a good overview on your rights and obligations, as well as practical information. The brochure exists in two versions, depending on your employment:

• Permanent-Season- long term temporary employees
• Production and temporary/hourly employees - artistic team, conductor, soloist, ensemble, 

When you have read the welcome brochure, we recommend that you make yourself familiar with the selected policies posted on the right.

If you have any questions, not being answered in any of these documents, don’t hesitate to contact your manager or producer, stated on your contract.

About Malmö Opera
Malmö Opera has more than 275 permanent employees and 500-700 production engaged employees per season, in over 90 different occupational categories. We produce operas, musicals, concerts, dance performances and we have a separate department that works exclusively with opera and musical theatre for children and young people, as well as a regional, touring body. On an annual basis we perform approximately 300 performances.
