Information for Creative team

Welcome to Malmö Opera!

We are pleased to invite you to Malmö Opera and to be working together on a production. On this page you will find information for creative teams for the pre-production process. There are guidelines for designers, floor and section plans, policies, and other useful documents.

Notes and minutes as well as links to production plan, staffing etc. will be sent to you via e-mail, as technical and other meetings are held during the process.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact your producer and or other contact person in the contact list seen below.

About Malmö Opera

Malmö Opera has more than 275 permanent employees and 500-700 production engaged employees per season, in over 90 different occupational categories. We produce operas, musicals, concerts, dance performances and we have a separate department that works exclusively with opera and musical theatre for children and young people, as well as a regional, touring body. On an annual basis we perform approximately 300 performances.
